RE:  Church Acctg via the QBOE Web System                      Originated:  December 2000

As mentioned more in depth within  0801 , some time ago I learned of   ASPs, or Application Service Providers - and how certain Internet based accounting systems might benefit MFTeams.   QuickBooks (QB) now has their  "QuickBooks for the Web" accounting product. We refer to this QB product as "QBOE" within this web site.  Please also go to  0930  for more information about a Ministry Finance Web Based Application proposed service.

In our view, since QB is probably the most widely used accounting software out there, this is VERY relevant to MFTeams of Smaller Evangelical Ministries like Churches, Schools, Mission Agencies, Camps-Conferences and like minded groups.  Please go to  0601  to access our Onliner Document about using QBs for Fund Accounting for Ministries; also see our  0904  Editorial on this ASP topic.
