RIGHTEOUS PERSONAL FINANCE (or RPFin) is defined as: 

        "The handling of personal finances by a Christian BLVR in ways that are pleasing to the Lord."

         The term Christian  "BLVR", as used here, includes either one person or a husband-wife endeavor. It embraces the term "Stewardship," or handling of fiscal resources that belong to someone else (the Lord),  with the BLVR having major management responsibilities. 
        Within this context, it is essential that each BLVR conclude and take action as to such issues as:

1> Philosophy --- the BLVR's biblical perspective or what does the BLVR believe on such issues.
2> Principles and operating policies established therefrom.
3> Discipline that results from some vows made and kept.
4> Good resource management and prudent use of tools for decision making; that involves appropriate methods and procedures. 
5> Protocol -- involves timeliness.

BLVR Receipt, or Revenue, types might include:

  • Personal Net Earnings via Self Employment Income 
  • Investments proceeds like Interest earned, or Dividends received.
  • Retirement Income
  • Via previous SetASides
  • Inheritance

BLVR Expenditure types might include:

  • Tithes and Offerings -- Donations
  • Ordinary daily living expenses
  • Rent/Mortgage and/or groceries
  • Meals and Lodging
  • Recreation - Entertainment
  • Medical Expenses
  • Acquiring or maintaining physical Assets
  • Residence
  • Vehicles
  • Operating expenses thereof
  • Taxes - income and property etc
  • Providing education/schooling
  • Making investments (includes Social Security) for the future.
