RE: My "Bio" & related services Info Originated: July 2008
http://www.bcidot.org/fwi/0905-03.htmlI am one of those HOMERs or, "Moms at Home," that Jim Bramer describes when you go to the content of his web links that follow:
Before Jack and I were married, I worked at a Church client of Jim's in the Southern California area and Jack and I have stayed in touch with Jim and Bettie down through the years. When our children came along, Jack & I decided that I would be one of those "At Home Moms" with that kind of life style. I do not believe it is appropriate for this Mom, at least, to be employed outside the home, but, in light of my ministry finance training and experiences, I wanted to continue to serve the Lord along these lines in appropriate ways.
Since working at the above Church where I first met Jim, I lost all of my hearing (1). Or I am "Hearing Impaired" and often find that my "Hearing Aids" do not function very well at this point in my life. This, of course, means that I do not work well in a "Phone Call" or "Face to Face" environment and I find that I need to interact in writing so, as you can understand, my communication process is entirely by Email and Internet resources.
After our kids got older, Jim Bramer asked me if I would be interested in getting trained by him and then work from our home in Southern California by using our Computer and the Internet in ways that he has described when you Click Here. I expect to also do the appropriate coaching that Jim defines when you Click Here. When I served as the Controller at the rather large Church mentioned above I was sometimes called 'Pinching Penny' for some reason or other. Actually my full name is Penelope. --- or Penny (my Dad calls me that all the time) , of course, when I was growing up. The combination of your first and last name is sometimes interesting when you get married. I look forward to remotely helping appropriate Churches, Mission Organizations and perhaps Schools.
You might particularly find the content of 2000 via Brad Pendable of interest as a Small Ministry utilizes the QuickBooks and Internet resources via what is called the FinFax accounting system. It is so good to learn how Brad functions.
But I am also available to remotely assist Young Adults and the individual Christian, or family, in what Jim calls Righteous Personal Finance via the virtual eEnvelope SPENDING CONTROL system that he has instituted. Ask me for more details about all of this. I especially endorse the Ministries that Jim has listed when you Click Here when I volunteer in this manner.
- If Jim or Brad has not already worked through this with you, I help you decide what software and method to use as best befits your circumstances.
- Work with you to define "Spending Areas-Envelopes" of your life
- Assist you in structuring your software for the use of the eEnvelope System as it responds to your unique needs
- Make sure that you are timely getting the reports so that you can control your spending.
- If appropriate, be the "out source" person mentioned Here when this person does most of your bookkeeping, etc.
My thrust is NOT to assist you in tax or investment matters, or counsel you about debt management, as you should be using other resources for these purposes.
At this time in my life, I do NOT charge any fees for providing this type of service. For business and tax reasons there are no checks payable to Pen Pinscher --- if you need to mail something to me, please route it through Jim Bramer at 2628 E. Goshen, Fresno, CA 93720 and he will see that I get it, etc.
CAUTION: As evidenced by my use of the following resources, Jim and I are working closely together on these matters ..... I am NOT his employee even though it might appear that way.
- As needed, I will invite you to my desktop as we use his "you are invited to my desktop system" -- his name may show up occasionally, etc.
- At this point in our relationship I use this Email address via Brad's web site: Brad@rpfin.org
- You will notice that Jim has permitted me to use his www.bcidot.org web site to provide this material for you. At some point I may have my own web site, but not now.
- See above comment about possible mail to me flowing through him.
- If you and I have a problem because of my hearing impairment, it is requested that you email Jim Bramer at Jim@bcidot.org and arrange to phone him at 1 559 298 5507 as the two of you can likely resolve it.
Please contact me at Brad@rpfin.org so we conclude how to proceed with the next step of this assignment. I wish you the very best. In reality, both Brad and I are pen names, or alter egos, of Jim B.
