    "Today's "Ax to Grind"   

    Many of us can identify with Online Banking -- or we use the secure part of the Internet to go to our bank account financial info and simply view what has hit our bank account and discover what is our current bank balance, or we take such actions as:  >> transfer money in our bank account to a vendor,  or >>  we transfer money to/from our checking/savings accounts at this bank.  Basically,  we do not have to wait to get our monthly Bank Statement since we can see its equivalent via the Internet. Some of us do our Bank Reconciliation via the Internet (please go to  0165 ) and some of us manage and pay virtually all of our bills using such resources -- please see content of  0926   for more info.

    The thrust of this editorial is for you to ask for Online Banking-like features to be incorporated within the infrastructure of your Ministry's software (like QuickBooks, for example), so that such Internet/Online Ministry Finance Actions as the following can take place:

            I encourage you to ask such vendors as QuickBooks to provide you with these options.  Please note their existing Online product known as  QBOE    (QBooks Online Editions.)  As of November 2005, please note potential eExchequer Web based services to Ministries.
