   We firmly believe that Fund Raising Philosophy needs to be defined and agreed to by all Board Members ---- or there should a Corporate Fund Raising Philosophy, or belief.
    We are finding that the Founder Director may have one approach while the Board Members may approach it entirely differently.
    Of course, all Financial Policies should be defined and placed in writing, but this one is so fundamental to the issue of financial stability and good stewardship that it probably should be the very first Financial Policy agreed to by all Board Members. Below are links to Sample Financial Policies helps:

               Church Financial Policies
               School Financial Policies
               Mission Agency Financial Policies

Please be sure and conclude such issues as :

1> Means of communicating financial needs to constituents of the Ministry;
2> Whether funds should be solicited from Christians only;
3> "Junk mail" like mailing frequency;
4> "Tithe" and "Pledge" issues in a church setting.
